  • Enabling either form of PVP at any point would permanently enable the player to collide with gear objects and other players
  • Earning a badge with an additional reward would not immediately provide said reward
  • Displayed numbers with decimals would occasionally fail to round correctly, resulting in the number appearing to be 1 digit smaller than in reality. This was most noticeable with fish sizes.
  • Fish size would not format in accordance to the player’s Numeral Format setting during the initial catch
  • Fish inventory loading and updating would momentarily drop frames with larger inventories

  • The FF juice stand at SPAWN and the vending machine in the Bloxxer’s Dojo now utilize traditional shops. This also means that the vending machine’s output is no longer random
  • Adjusted prices of soda from the vending machine in the Bloxxer’s Dojo
  • Adjusted various item descriptions
  • The timer that determines the speed of a thrown bowling ball now begins when the on-screen ball begins moving up, instead of when it finishes moving down
  • The on-screen fish in fishing’s reeling minigame can no longer be interacted with until the UI has reached the center of the screen
  • When inside certain buildings with setting Automatically Set Spawn turned on, the player will be guaranteed to spawn at that building’s dedicated respawn location. This should remedy situations such as wiping out on the bowling lanes and respawning at McDod.
  • Spawn point cannot be manually set in the Spawn app when setting Automatically Set Spawn is on
  • The specific respawn location when setting Automatically Set Spawn is on is more random (in a good way)
  • Teapots in Dodge the Teapots will disappear if they get too close to the respawn area
  • Adjusted nighttime lighting
  • Bowling ball A Special Gift can now appear with a variety of textures
  • Passport can be accessed without rejoining via the Collection app

Fixed Bugs

  • The idle animations for the majority of NPCs played improperly
  • Ocean ambience didn’t stop when entering a building after first stepping outside
  • Settings that can be toggled on or off would initially show as being off, regardless of what they were actually set to
  • Certain items that are automatically distributed to players were not equippable through the game’s menus
  • A collision issue in the Sword Fighting arena that made players get stuck instead of traveling to the intended destination
  • The Paintball Gun in Brickbattle could not do damage
  • Amount of owned tickets and metashards would show the incorrect amount if purchases or sales were performed too quickly
  • Arcade machines would fail to properly freeze and unfreeze the player when starting and ending a game
  • Arcade machines would break if the player did nothing until time ran out

  • The message for multiple people being awarded one badge was slightly different in color than that for a normal badge reward message

Fixed Bugs

  • Returning from the Brickbattle or Swordfighting arenas would change the skybox to the less vibrant version present before v2.0.0
  • One of the conveyor belt-like ramps in the Swordfighting arena would move the player to the side (usually to their doom) instead of down, like intended
  • The Backpack app would fail to load properly if the player didn’t have any tools when launching it, making it unusable
    This may potentially remedy a separate but similar error with the same result. More testing is necessary.

  • Missing only one throw in a frame of Bowling would be treated by the payout system as if you had gotten 0 points in the entire frame, preventing any payout
  • “Kingpin” badge could be awarded to more than one player in the match, despite them not meeting the criteria
  • Bass-reactive effects in the Nightclub wouldn’t occur

Fixed Bugs

  • Throwing the ball too slow in Bowling would be treated as if the player had been AFK, causing the rest of the frame to be counted as 0 points
  • Fishing line wouldn’t break if the player strayed too far from the bobber
  • Fishing rods had collision, allowing for the potential of using them to interact with things that shouldn’t be
  • Bowling sweepdeck would stay down if every player left the match while it was down
  • Duplicate fish wouldn’t show up in the inventory if the player had multiple of the same fish of the same size
  • Player’s turn to throw in Bowling would start slightly before the Dynamic Camera panned away from the scoreboard

Pre-Alpha update 6 (4/2/2022)

Additions

  • Player Titles
    Nametags to put above your character’s head to express just that little bit more about yourself
  • “Backpack” Application
    Access your inventory and interact with it. Equip tools, sell fish, and more to come
  • “Customization” Application
    Purchase and modify cosmetic items for yourself
  • Daylight cycle that lasts for 1 hour
  • Fish can now actually be kept in your inventory
  • Fish can now vary in size
  • Fish can now be sold, and shown to other people in-game from your inventory
  • Fishing rods now need to be purchased, and can be equipped from your inventory

Changes

  • Anything that can reward tickets will reward 10 times as much, as next update will reset all data
  • New models for Bowling’s pin-setters and sweepdeck
  • Adjusted animations for Bowling’s pin-setters and sweepdeck, which should also result in preparation for a match taking less time
  • Tickets can now be earned from playing Dodge the Teapots
  • New design for fishing rods
  • Mild rework to fishing rods

Pre-Alpha update 5 (3/19/2022)

Fixed Bugs

  • Respawning with the option to automatically set spawns on would allow the player to respawn in a technical spawn under the island intended for initially loading in the player, which would usually result in being stuck under the island
  • “Public” and “Friends only” options couldn’t actually be selected during the setup of a Bowling game, causing it to time out and default to public

    Bask in the lightshow of the dancefloor and enjoy some tunes with your friends!
  • An indeterminate amount of new fish
  • Setting to automatically respawn at the nearest respawn location
  • Setting to automatically approach the Bowling lane after confirming where to begin the throw
  • Setting to hide your own nametag from yourself
  • Various other undetailed settings

Fixed Bugs

  • Letting go of the ball graphic in the middle of a Bowling throw would make it substantially harder to move, usually ruining the throw
  • Fishing didn’t work on mobile devices

Pre-Alpha update 3 (2/26/2022)

Additions

  • New Activity: Fishing
    Cast a line and get your hands on some wonderful nautical creatures!
  • Guiding arrows and a power meter for the process of throwing the ball in Bowling, to hopefully better show how to play
  • Setting to adjust how fast your character walks when lining up a throw in Bowling

  • Bowling balls can now roll for longer before the game decides it’s been too long and nullifies the throw
  • Removed Bowling tutorial “video” in favor of new guiding arrows and power meter

Fixed Bugs

  • Shops and the SPAWN application relied on old data that no longer existed, and thus didn’t function
  • Volume settings didn’t actually change the volume

  • New building for Bloxxer’s Dojo (previously unnamed location for Brickbattle, Sword Fighting and Sword Dueling)
  • Leaving an activity at the Bloxxer’s Dojo will now respawn you near the activity’s area

Fixed Bugs

  • Players would occasionally spawn outside the arenas for Brickbattle and Sword Fighting
  • Slingshot, Superball, and Paintball Gun could harm players who weren’t playing Brickbattle. good thing nobody figured that out
  • “Kingpin” badge didn’t function
  • Multiple people joining the server in a short period of time would cause some people to load in especially slow
  • Code error would cause players’ nametags to render improperly
