SocialService:GetExperienceEventAsync does not return what the documentation says it should

  1. Run game:GetService(“SocialService”):GetUpcomingExperienceEventsAsync() or :GetExperienceEventAsync(eventId)
  2. See that it only has the following parameters:

Expected behavior

What should happen is that it should also contain Subtitle, DisplayTitle, DisplaySubtitle, DisplayDescription, and importantly ThumbnailIds

It also does not align with what the open cloud api says should happen

Hi @firestarroblox123!

Thanks for flagging. I’ve confirmed that the docs listed those parameters that weren’t live yet. I’ve just submitted an update to the docs to match current API behavior.

I don’t have an ETA on when the additional parameters will be available. If you are seeing any issues from the engine/Studio side, please feel free to open a new report and it’ll be triaged accordingly.

Thanks!
