Hey developers! Some of y’all might remember me from the Pandemic Phase post. If not, cool, here I am now haha. Anyways, I took a quick break from that and decided to make an Egg Hunt Lobby out of pure boredom and season spirit. I decided the best way to improve it would be to get some feedback here! So here’s the link to the lobby. Keep in mind that the portals aren’t function yet, it isn’t a glitch.
Anyways, my main concerns are the walls (whether or not they fit in and look good) and also if you guys happen to find any places to glitch out of the map. All feedback is definitely wanted and accepted though, so let me know all of your thoughts!
P.S. - You can hold shift to sprint so walking around isn’t so boring.
Would suggest making the lights turn on and off with the time, it doesn’t make sense to have the lights on around the map while it’s daylight. They should be off during daytime and turn on when it’s nighttime. You should also change the walls around the maps texture, it doesn’t look that good with the current texture, it’s very unpleasant to look at in my opinion. Instead of having every tree the same kind, I’d recommend adding different types of trees throughout the map to make it more detailed and less simple. I also noticed that the walls surrounding the map didn’t go all the way around the map, it just ends in a random spot you should expand the walls to surround the entire map.
Ok, thank you for the input! The walls imo have been the games biggest crutch. Pain to make, hard to fit with style, and super janky in general since they barely do their job (keeping players in). I’m probably going to switch to terrain walls.
Yeah, I was looking into adding bushes because it’s a little too simple. Also more extreme changes in trees would be a good idea. Thanks for the input amigo.
