Sporadic crashes/hangs in Play Solo

I’m gonna start out by saying that I’ve been investigating this issue for half a day and this is the best I could muster out of it.
Please let me know how else I can approach this if needed, as I’m unable to uncover any more information.

Starting sometime around the start of October, I’ve been experiencing sporadic crashes & irrecoverable hangs at seemingly random while testing a specific place using Play Solo.

I’ve observed that this issue can happen when starting/exiting play solo, or streaming out the entire map, but is usually difficult to consistently reproduce. I’ve attempted to track down where this might be originating from, such as from my own scripts, or performing a certain action, but alas—nothing that seemed to be related.
Additionally, I’ve tried disabling all installed plugins to see if it alleviates the issue, but that also doesn’t help.

I’ve provided additional information including crash dumps & process samples in the associated private message.

Hello! Thanks for the bug report, we think we know the problem and are working on a fix. For right now, please try disabling the Acoustic Simulation beta and seeing if that eliminates the crash.

@katsumisoda just checking back on this, does the crash still occur for you?

Hi! I can confirm that the issue is no longer present with the Acoustic Simulation beta enabled.
