For some reason I keep messing around with damping and stiffness but it never seems to give me the result I want. I want the car’s suspension to be way better, not so choppy as seen in this video. (Everything is massless and the only thing that is cancollide are the wheels.
You need some mass. Your stiffness is way too high, which is why it’s very rigid. But if you drop it too low due to little to no mass, I bet it starts acting really weird, right? What I usually do is have a part near the center-of-mass of the assembly that I make transparent and just change the density to increase mass as needed. Once you have enough mass, the springs will play a bit nicer.
