Standing on physics based objects set Velocity to 0

I’m stuck with a issue, when a player walks their velocity increases, when a player jumps their velocity increases but for some reason if a player is standing on a object that is moving their velocity is extremely low, even if the object is moved in a way that is entirely based off physics. Is this normal behavior and is there any way to fix this? I would preferably like to keep the car the way it is.

I am also encountering this problem, it is rather an engine bug. Hopefully we get a fix
