RETURN TO MAIN HANDBOOK
While within our coffee shops as a customer or staff member, we are all expected to adhere to the Coffeehouse Code of Conduct which in fancier terms is the literal rulebook that binds us all from spiraling out of control and ensuring everyone enjoys their “third place” experience. Please read these thoroughly as they are updated every so often by Store Management to ensure policies are polished.
If you happen to witness any violations regardless of the severity please report it to a member of management if they are in the coffee shop or head to our communications server and open a general ticket using #request-help, if said person is a staff member you may open a staff report ticket instead. In extreme cases. a Café Blacklist may be issued by store management which prevents you from joining our coffee shop and interacting in the group. To appeal a punishment, you must open an appeals ticket and state your case, you can only appeal permanent bans and cannot appeal kicks.
1. Be considerate towards our employees and other customers.
Trolling or the act of being disruptive to others is not permitted and will result in one verbal warning before being kicked out Trolling can include but not limited to jumping on tables, misusing the restroom, not ordering properly, and any other erratic behaviour not aforementioned.
2. Follow all of ROBLOX’s Terms of Use and Community Standards.
All customers and staff members are to adhere to ROBLOX’s Terms of Use and Community Standards no matter what. Violations will be met with a ban from our coffee shop and a report to Roblox. Ban evasion will also be met with a ban on both accounts as well.
3. Dress appropriately while visiting or ordering at the café.
We ask that all customers dress appropriately and do not have overly large accessories or wear any accessories that make sound or emit particles. You will be asked only once to change within two minutes or you will be kicked out. Repeat offenders may be banned if continued.
4. Please act maturely and do not impersonate others.
Impersonating staff while not disrespectful can be considered heavily irresponsible and may even lead to confusion among staff members or even management. We ask that you do not impersonate anyone else including positions you do not have. Our management staff are identified by either a clipboard or crown icon above their head. Impersonating anyone will be met with a verbal warning and then a kick or ban depending on the severity of your actions.
5. Exploiting is strictly prohibited under any circumstances.
Exploiting is the ability for players to abuse the normal core functions of a game giving them advantages normal players do not have such as noclipping, speed, or other gamebreaking hacks. With that in mind, any exploiting will be met with a permanent ban without the chance of appeal. Any form of glitching will also be considered exploiting and will be met with the same punishment.
6. Advertising your content or someone else’s is not permitted.
Advertising is the form of promoting content in the intent of getting views or monetary gain. As such, it is prohibited that anyone is allowed to advertise in our spaces unless under two specific conditions: a Regular Customer+ posts their own content on the community board within the café or a business partner invites someone to their business if directly asked.
7. Please attempt to speak English if you possibly can,.
There is no disrespect with this rule however, a majority of our employees only speak english and it would be very hard to moderate outside of English. Even though Roblox does utilise translation services they are not always accurate to your dialect. If you do conversate in other languages we will not moderate unless we recieve a report or you are trying to order and we do not understand.
8. Please order properly and you cannot order more than 3 items at a time.
When ordering menu items we ask politely that you do not order improperly which can include asking for items we do not have or outrageous customizations on items. We also ask that you do not order more than three items at one sitting, this allows staff to give your order efficiently. Ordering improperly is considered trolling and will result in one verbal warning and then a kick.
