A player (not me!) has reported that on Wolf Story, and they are playing on console, they would press a button in the HUD to open up an interface which causes SetCoreGuiEnabled for the Leaderboard to be false, but then once they exit out of the interface to make it true, it pops up the leaderboard UI intrusively and unexpectedly.
I’m unable to reproduce this because I don’t have a console.
EDIT: Seems they are playing on desktop but with a gamepad controller (they have the desktop cursor)
