State Highway Patrol Disciplinary Procedure

Section 11 - Disciplinary Procedure

All employees of State Highway Patrol are given a three strike chance.

First Strike - Third Strike = Warning - Employees of State Patrol that receive their first-third strikes will be warned, the employee may still patrol, and continue normal duties but will be watched carefully by the high command. Every Employee gets three warnings unless chosen otherwise by the Deputy Watch Commander or Watch Commander.

Fourth Strike = Internal Affairs Report - Employees of State Patrol that receive their fourth strike will be reported to the Internal Affairs. Once an employee receives their fourth strike the Internal Affairs may put them on desk duty during the investigation of the case. Desk duty means that the employee can not conduct any duties related to State Patrol.

All strikes are possible to be removed. You can request to have your strikes removed by the Internal Affairs Department.
