Stats On Where Players Come From

I’d like for roblox to track statistics on how players found my game. Did they follow a friend, find it on the Games page, or click an ad? It would let me track more easily how successful my strategies are.

I think that would be pretty useful to have. I know it’s nice to see how people find my Deviantart page with google analytic.

Being able to tell whether or not a player actually joined your game after clicking an ad would be fantastically useful.

In fact, you can track if they followed someone now. It is in the “Player”. If you go to the object browser and look at player, you can find FollowUserId

Maybe something like this for the Developer Stats page?

Does that actually work? I remember it being added literally just before the code freeze, and so may not have been implemented fully.

I cannot see why this won’t happen. Looking forward to this some day in the future.

Don’t forget to add an ‘Other’ section.

For example, simply putting ‘roblox games’ into google gave me this:

Some people who simply want to have a look at some of the games on ROBLOX without actually navigating the site may use this.
