Yesterday a group logo I wanted to used was moderated for “Discriminatory Content”
Its the US flag with 13 stars, and the stars arranged in a circle.
I don’t know why, and Roblox moderation is frustratingly inconsistent, on and off moderating the flag as discriminatory content without any explanation. Hundreds if not thousands of Roblox group owners and creators use it, especially Continental Army and Revolutionary War groups and games.
This flag is ubiquitous all across the United States, alongside with the current national flag with 50 stars. its attributed as one of the first American Flags that was used primarily during the war of independence. Its appears in countless pieces of media and the evidence is overwhelming that this flag is fine and should not be considered discriminatory or hateful in any way.
I ask Roblox now, to just stop. Allow the flag.
PS:
Perhaps its fate that today is June 14, which happens to be Flag Day in the United States, a mini Fourth of July. It’s a little known holiday that was established in 1917, but it was established to commemorate the Flag Resolution made by the Continental Congress in 1777 establishing the design of the American Flag.
