UPDATE: The TTD and others are threatening police action on temple developers, nearly all of whom are children.
I am writing this post at my own will and on behalf of All India Robloxian Group. This was not done by anyone else’s request.
What happened?
For the past several weeks, Telugu and Tamil news channels have been spreading misinformation about temple developers on Roblox.
They have been claiming that “Roblox app store companies” are releasing apps to purposefully disrespect and exploit the faiths of pilgrims. It has gotten so bad that the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams Trust Board (TTD) are threatening police investigation against these developers who, by the way, are all children.
These are the news channels responsible:
- SITI 24x7
- Sakshi TV
- Sahithi TV
- TV9 Telugu Live
- Sun News
- Kiran Royal is the politician responsible for all of this
Newsflash: We’re not going away.
Why you’re wrong: Part 1
Before recently, the Indian presence on Roblox has always been small, but even so, temple games were being made all the way back in 2016. We’ve been doing this for so many years, and if it was harmful in any way, Roblox themselves would’ve stopped it.
Why you’re wrong: Part 2
These aren’t “companies” who are working on temple games. Most of them are kids who are still in school. If you go after them, you are only showing the world how cowardly you are.
Conclusion
So, “news channels”, if you don’t know how this site works then don’t bother reporting on anything.
Instead of attacking small Roblox developers, focus on the real issues.
