Stop voxels from rendering behind a certain mesh

I’m trying to fine-tune my boat game, but the boat needs to sink in the water to work properly. However, that doesn’t work as intended since the water voxel just clips the boat. How would I use a mesh covering the problematic area that stops water from rendering if it’s under just like gui doesn’t render behind glass?

Basically I’m trying to stop the rendering of the water in a certain region:

I doubt you can stop it from rendering , you’d need to just remove it completely where the boat goes (which could bring its own problems.)
