Struggling With Cross-Place Spawns

Hello there developers of the devforum! I come to thee with something that I’ve been struggling to figure out myself.

I’ve seen this in some games, where you can have a player being teleported in from one game spawn at a specific spot in another game, regardless of the team they are on. I’m assuming it has something to do with Globaldatastores, but I just can’t wrap my head around how to use those for it.

If you want an example, let’s say there’s a building. The exterior is on one place, the interior is on another. I want the player to spawn in right outside the building or right inside the building as they enter/exit, without messing up the spawns for other players. Both places are in the same universe, or game, or experience, or whatever it’s called.

Also, I’m not asking for the code to be made for me, because I know that’s not allowed here. I’m asking for some hints and suggestions. If you want to write out code that does it though, be my guest.

I believe when you teleport a player to a place, you can send some data with that.

Used this and a combination of MessagingService to make it happen. Thanks for helping to point me in the general direction though.
