The default studio animator has been completely bugged and rendered nearly useless for me.
It works fine when I start making an animation, but after a while it bugs out.
When it bugs out, some frames cannot be edited at all. Trying to rotate them or move them doesn’t do anything. I’ve tried animating on different places and different games, but to no avail.
I think you should bug report this in engine bugs
