I am an environment artist and whilst doing my work, Roblox studio hangs for 2 seconds and then crashes while it is trying to AutoRecovery. This happens consistently across all places/experiences. I have been dealing with this problem on and off for about 6 months now and it has become very intolerable at this point as it has constantly been interfering with my productivity. My AutoRecovery is disabled in studio settings but I use team create. I’ve tried re-installing studio, clearing cache, disabling beta features, deleting old AutoRecovery files but the problem still persist.
This log indeed doesn’t seem to be a normal shutdown Studio session. Though we cannot find any additional data in our internal database to locate this session for some reason. Do you have any dmp file for this session generated in ~/Library/Logs/Roblox/crashes? Can you DM that if possible?
yes, Team Create was enabled the whole time. However, I am not entirely sure if the auto-recovery was happening on a regular time based intervals or if it was happening as a result of the crash itself.
Hello, I was able to figure out why the crash was happening. At the end of the crash It would say “connection lost to server” in a window. Apparently the crash was happening due to a plugin and stopped after I disabled said plugin.
