Studio Exiting Session When Publishing

As someone who has been using Roblox Studio for a while, I am very used to doing Ctrl + S to save the game and Alt + P to publish the game.

Today this changed because of a bug I experienced. Saving with the Ctrl + S shortcut works completely fine however whenever I press Alt + P it kicks me from the editing session and takes me to the home screen of Roblox Studio. I also noticed this also happens even when I don’t press P and only Alt.

Expected behavior

What I expect to happen is when I press Alt, it should do nothing and when I press Alt + P, it should publish the game to Roblox. The alt key shouldn’t be assigned to anything therefor not do anything by itself.

Update: It is now happening when I do Ctrl + S and Alt + P
This is getting really annoying because every time I save and publish, it exists studio.

Another update: It now does it even when I don’t use the key combinations and just use the save to roblox and publish to roblox buttons.

I’m seeing similar behavior.
I’m also using Script Sync, but I’m not sure whether it’s related or just coincidental.

Script Sync most likely isn’t related because i’m not using that and i’m facing the same issue.

It however after a while stops and saves/publishes normal without exiting and then goes back to the same issue.

To confirm, do you have any plugins installed? Are you seeing this on all of your games or just one?

I sent some logs in the private thread, not sure if I sent the correct ones tho.

It was happening with all of my games, and I do have plugins install none of which have any custom keybind combinations.

Hi, this is happening on all of my games and on macOS. I’ve disabled and re-enabled my plugins and confirmed none of them have any keybinds. I’ve sent the logs to @bug-files as I can’t see any private thread nor can I message you. Correct me if i sent it to the wrong location.

This happens to everyone, unfortunately. I’ve learned to finish what I want to do or publish before I begin on big projects in case I need to undo. I think it has to do with the abrupt settings and everything Roblox has to do while publishing. This isn’t necessarily a bug, just annoying.

i’m pretty sure this is a bug because I’ve been using Roblox Studio since 2017 and this is the first time this has ever happened. it’s weird that when I save to roblox with the button and the shortcut, it still kicks me out of the session. it has always said “Saving To Roblox…” followed by “Saved changes to Place_Name”, it isn’t intended to kick you out of your editing session otherwise it would say Save & Exit however it doesn’t.
