Hi,
There’s a group game I’ve been working on with a team where a team member overwrote the game with a more updated version. Attempting to open the game in Studio causes it to open the older version while the Roblox game client opens the newest version. Any ideas on this issue?

Have you tried to reinstall recently? I’ve had a similar problem to this and I reinstalled my Studio and it worked perfectly.
There are some things you can do to resolve this issue, although I’m not sure if these will work as I have never experienced this kind of thing.
Perhaps click “migrate to latest update” on the game’s “Play” page, not sure if it helps but it’s worth a try.
Try reverting or bringing the version to the new/overwritten version/place. You can find this feature in one of the Configure tabs or in Game Settings for Roblox studio. It’s been a while since I’ve checked.
