Studio performance severely degraded

I’ve been experiencing an issue with Roblox Studio that prevents me from using it. I haven’t used studio in about 2 weeks, so I have no clue when it exactly started happening.

The issue:

  • <5 FPS (approx.) on the home page
  • ~47 FPS while editing (no team create), same issue in play solo
  • Severe FPS drop in a script, and will keep dropping if I let it, closing the script stops it, but my FPS remains affected

What I tried that didn’t solve the issue:

  • Re-installing Roblox Studio
  • Changing Graphics Mode to Vulkan as per this post
  • Disabling Enable Client/Server MDI for Play Solo as per this post

I have no beta features or plugins enabled.

System information:
Windows 11
AMD Ryzen 9 5900X, 32 GB, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Ti

Question, did you just delete and reinstall or delete it fully from the appdata folders?

If you just did the above, just delete and install. I recommend trying this:

I deleted it, then removed both Versions folder (to preserve my settings). However, I just did a clean install (deleting the actual Roblox folder in localappdata too), but that didn’t fix it.

Update: I factory reset my PC, the issue no longer persists.
