Now, I’ve heard that this doesn’t seem to be affecting anybody else, but whenever I try to play solo or start a server there are severe issues with the camera.
Upon starting Play Solo, the output is spammed with “StarterGui:GetCoreGuiEnabled called from server script. Did you mean to use a local script?”. The camera appears in a seemingly random position, with no relevance whatsoever to the character.
When using the command bar, Workspace.CurrentCamera is nil, though Players.LocalPlayer is correct. Attempts to fix Workspace.Camera using the command results only in making the Character invisible, with the exception of the face.
I can navigate the camera to view the character using the mouse and left/right arrow keys. The character responds to regular controls, and moves to the angle of the camera (behaviour that is normal when using the arrow keys to control the camera).
What I’m really looking for is a fix, as I have no idea why this occurs. Note: This happens every time that I try to use Play Solo or Test Server.
I tried starting a new place and destroying the baseplate. It still happened.
This issue has been happening for a while now, I’ll do some testing when I can to see if it’s related to RibbonBar.
Sorry for the late reply.
Yes, it’s still happening. I’m certain that it’s todo with the camera now, because even in regular studio some plugins that use Studio’s CurrentCamera are erroring for me, yet not for others. Reinstalling doesn’t seem to do anything (unless I’m doing something wrong by uninstalling (on mac)).
I don’t think plugins could be causing it, but as it is a possibility I will try removing them to see if it helps.
EDIT: I THINK (It’s very likely) that this was a plugin. I managed to get it working now. Thank you Khanovich for trying to help me with what I know perceive to be a self-inflicted issue. Thank you very much.
