Studio Windows: Not Closing

When using a studio window, for example. Game Settings, when I finish with it and click close, NOT the x button it keeps open. When hovering over Studio via taskbar it shows the window still being open. Overtime it starts to lag as so many windows are now open my CPU and GPU usage has increased to 40%.

Screenshot of it happening.

This happens in all studio cases, even in different games.

Expected behavior

When clicking close the window should close and shouldn’t appear until reopened and shouldn’t show when hovering over Studio via taskbar.

Another very bad screenshot of this happening. Can I bump this to get fixed?

Hi, looking at this in further detail, we cannot repro this to any degree on our end. I’m wondering if this is some interaction with plugins or something else - unfortunately I can’t tell from the log you sent over.

Does this happen on every close, or only when closed in the specific way mentioned in the bug? Is there anything you’ve found that when you do it it happens more frequently?

If possible, can you please attach a clean log - that means, go in and delete the log files in your log (or move them to a different folder). Start studio and close it so the bug reproduces. Wait for the program to eventually end, or in your case, terminate it after a while from task manager. DM or attach the latest log.

Thanks!

We’ll close this now until we hear back - one thing that would really help is a full video replaying exactly the steps you took to get in this state.
