Suggestions about advertising game - Roblox ads, social media, what?

Hello! I have a game (a steal-a-thing type of game) that I would like to begin advertising to try and get an active player base or just get some feedback on. I’m currently looking at methods to advertise my game, but I don’t know how to go about this.

I want to start by promoting my game on YouTube and eventually other platforms using their short-form video features. What kind of videos on games perform best there? My YouTube channel is relatively small (400 subs, around 200-2000 views per short).

I currently have not enough robux to run Roblox ads but I am also considering it as well once I have enough.

Are there any other effective methods to advertise? Are there suggestions you would have on how to go about advertising? Thanks!

Youtube should be a good way, as long as it shows your video to people. Make sure the thumbnail is good too, people love thumbnails so thats pretty much essential.

Id say asking for feedback on the devforum is a good way to not only get people to play your game, but also people who are willing to give you feedback, this is my personal strategy for making my game better

As far as advertising on roblox, i havent done this in a while so idrk, but ive heard they have ad credits or smth like that. Apparently theyre expensive(correct me if im wrong i havent advertised since 2022), so i would try other methods first before straight up sponsoring/advertising your game.
