Dream Update Changelog (Game 2.0)

Dream Path

  • A 6th path has appeared, adding 30 brand new stages to the game!
  • Can be accessed by the portal in The Shrine once you have reached 5 Stars

Game

  • Multiple save file slots for Adventure and Marathon modes!
    • Up to 3 for each mode type
  • Improved settings menu
    • Settings now save between play sessions
    • Speedrun timer now saves between play sessions
    • New stats page in settings
    • Changed default game music
  • Added many new visual effects across the game
  • Refreshed UI across the game

  • Improved Mobile and Console support
    • Shift lock support has been added for these platforms

Modes

  • General
    • Increased currency earned from early Checkpoints, and decreased currency earned from later Checkpoints (overall higher than before)
    • Increased currency earned from Lucky Blocks
  • Heart Coins
    • Now appear in all modes!
    • Can now heal once per run, including after a game over
      • Heart Coins in boss stages or finish stages can still heal once per life
    • Replaced with credit coins in harder marathons
    • Oxigastrum Coins now give +2 Bonus HP (previously +5 Bonus HP and +20 Lives)
  • Marathon Mode
    • Added character stamps for completing marathons
      • Character stamps turn golden when you complete a marathon difficulty as every character
    • Reduced currency multiplier for harder marathons
      • Arcade Marathon: x1.25 (previously x1.5)
      • Spooky Marathon: x1.25 (previously x1.5)
      • Gold 25 Marathon: x1.5 (previously x2.0)
      • Purist Marathon: x1.5 (previously x2.0)

Characters

  • General
    • Potion duration now scales inversely with character speed
    • The duration of hover orbs, build orbs, and falling build orbs now scales inversely with character speed
  • Blox
    • Greatly improved sprint ability
    • Removed double tap rush ability
  • Mr. Noob
    • Adjusted orb summon ability
      • Slightly decreased chance of damage orbs beyond 2 guaranteed orbs
      • Omegacharged Abilities now has 4 guaranteed orbs (previously 5)
    • Now requires 2 Stars to unlock (previously 8)
  • Fiona
    • Adjusted hover ability
      • Lasts slightly longer
      • Now has a jump power of 20 (previously 10), and now scales with character jump power
    • Now requires 6 Stars to unlock (previously 10)
  • Octavia
    • Improved sprint ability slightly
    • Adjusted climb ability
      • Reduced max stamina
      • Reduced stamina consumption while staying still
      • Map trusses no longer consume stamina
      • Omegacharged Abilities now gives infinite stamina
    • Now requires 10 Stars to unlock (previously 12)
  • Tavo
    • Base jump power is now 50 (previously 55)
    • Multi-jump ability now has a jump power of 50 (previously 55)

Coils

  • General
    • All coils now have icons
  • Blood Coil
    • Time no longer freezes when not held
  • Defense Coil
    • Increased damage negation chance after 1 use
    • Damage negation chance is now displayed above the coil
    • 1 HP Curse amulet no longer adjusts the damage negation chance
    • Reloading a save file no longer resets the damage negation chance
  • Life Bend Coil
    • Now recovers up to 2 HP on use (previously equal to max HP)
    • Now starts activated upon respawning
    • Now reactivates after reaching any checkpoint (previously required healing from a checkpoint)
    • Reloading a save file no longer deactivates the coil
  • Zombie Coil
    • Having 0 max HP no longer increases the time limit
  • Chance Coil
    • No longer limits camera zoom
    • Slightly decreased detection radius
  • Oxigastrum Coil
    • Now regenerates HP over time

Amulets

  • Set to 1 HP
    • Now removes your shield if you have one
  • Stalking Orb and Demon Orb
    • Adjusted speed scaling based on distance from the character
    • Speed no longer scales with speed modifiers, such as sprinting or potions (still scales with base character speed)
  • Shrine Access
    • Now allows swapping to any checkpoint, regardless of your current checkpoint

Potions

  • Speed/Jump potions now give a flat boost to their respective stats (previously multiplicative)
  • Luck potions are now more powerful
    • Tier I now gives +30% luck (previously +20%)
    • Tier II now gives +60% luck (previously +40%)
    • Tier III now gives +90% luck (previously +60%)
  • Magic Slythens potion now gives slythens in Checkpoints and Lucky Blocks (previously replaced zerols only for Checkpoints)
  • Money potions and Magic Slythen potions now appear slightly more often
  • Entering a boss stage now adds 1 minute to Omegacharged Abilities potion if you currently have it (previously 3 minutes)

Shops

  • Reworked cosmetics shop
    • 20 cosmetics are available each day, with more expensive ones being rarer
      • Can sometimes be on sale at a discount
    • 17 new cosmetics have also been added!
  • Daily Rewards
    • Greatly reduced time required to claim rewards
      • Tier I rewards now take 3:20 each, with the first one being free (previously 5:00 each)
      • Tier II rewards now take 5:00 each (previously 10:00 each)
      • Tier III rewards now take 7:30 each (previously 15:00 each)
      • Tier EX rewards now take 30:00 each (previously 1:00:00 each)
    • Adjusted reward values (still get more in the same amount of time)
    • Added rare chance for a “Super Lucky!” or “Ultra Lucky!” reward
    • Star bonus now gives up to a flat +50% boost to rewards (previously x2)
    • VIP now gives a flat +50% boost to rewards (previously x2 from Roblox Premium)
  • Boosts shop items now cost more credits in harder marathon modes
  • Robux shop items now give slightly less currency
  • Added new Starter Pack that appears after reaching stage 5 for the first time
  • Added new VIP gamepass
  • Added new Slythen Hunter gamepass

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed Diamond Coil and Oxigastrum Coil causing bosses to greatly speed up
  • Fixed Omegacharged Abilities potion expiring causing abilities to recharge
  • Many other small bug fixes

  • Cosmetics that are part of the 6 path cosmetic set will also be awarded for obtaining completion credit (when completing a harder marathon than required)

Amulets

  • Cursed Rewards amulet now gives more currency multiplier
  • Broken Checkpoints amulet now awards currency and clovers for skipped checkpoints

Potions

  • Increased base duration of Tier I potions to 3 minutes (previously 2 minutes)
  • Increased base duration of Tier II potions to 5 minutes (previously 3 minutes)
  • Increased base duration of Omegacharged potions to 2 minutes (previously 1 minute)
  • Regen II potions now regenerate health every 20 seconds (previously 30 seconds), but are rarer

Shop

  • The Slythen Hunter gamepass now gives slythens more often

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed controllers sometimes being unable to use the in-game menu
