Update 3/27/2020

  • Changed the base Sword’s recharge time back to 2 seconds
  • Made Lunge’s base damage 35
  • Shadow Blade’s Lunge now does 50 damage
  • Increased Greatsword’s swing time (midair is unaffected)
  • Smoke from bomb jumping works differently. Instead of multiplying your bomb jump by 0.33x, it now has a set maximum bomb jump length. This should help make things a bit more consistent and fair.

Hi everyone! Hope you’re doing well right now. This update has a big feature I’ve been working on for a while - Sticker Patches! Sorry there’s no new Tools this time - between getting Sticker Patches done & me getting sick last month, it took me some time to catch up. Expect an update more focused on new content next time! I hope you enjoy the new goodies!

  • New feature: STICKER PATCHES

    • New item that lets you attach Stickers to Tools!
    • When you KO an opponent with a patched Tool:
      • The Sticker will appear over your character.
      • The Sticker will appear on the enemy’s KO’d screen.
      • The Sticker will appear in the killfeed, replacing the KO icon.
    • Sticker Patches can be purchased with R$ or earned via Tasks & codes.
      • Players that started playing Super Doomspire in 2019 will also get 3 free Sticker Patches.
    • To access your Sticker Patches, go to the new Special section in your Items menu.
  • 36 new Stickers!

    • Includes guest stickers by Oct_alienYT & Feleanne!
  • Maps

    • Retooled the trampolines in Infection maps some
    • Lowered the floors in Possum City’s tower by one
    • Fixed some out of bounds issues in Dark Jungle
  • Balances/Tweaks

    • Added brand-new Sudden Death music by Zamual!
      • This plays when you’re out of spawns or when Sudden Death begins.
    • Increased the base lunge/strike cooldown by one second
    • Added a smoky effect for 12 seconds after you bomb jump
      • While smoking, your bomb jumps will be weaker. This is to help reduce air stalling.
    • Fixed some oddities with Trowel constructions that caused them to weld to invisible anchored parts or players
    • Fixed an issue where you could home-run entire Doomspires. I’m sorry, this one had to go.
    • When a Survivor dies in Infection, their buildings will now be destroyed.
    • Attempted a change that may help lower physics lag when Doomspires first start falling.
    • Damage numbers now show the actual damage being dealt instead of the remaining health of the victim
    • Made navigating your Items less terrible on gamepad/Xbox
    • Fixed some other bugs, I think! I don’t remember right now! It’s been a weird month.
