Super Pirate Wars Feedback

I am about to release a new game called Super Pirate Wars. The game is like the old game “Pirate Wars” by Pudinzo, but I have modified it and added features similar to doomspire brickbattle.

I am looking for feedback on the gameplay (is it fun?, is it hard to capture treasure?), how balanced the shop is (whether it’s easy or hard to purchase items), game icon and thumbnail feedback, and of course if there are any glitches you find too.

Any feedback is greatly appreciated. Here is the link for Super Pirate Wars.

Played it with a guy, it was fine. I think if you intend on creating a ground for nostalgia it has that feel combined with modern roblox (inventory ui, win ui, nicely functioning weapons etc.)

Granted I never played the original game, treasure seems a little unfair to get since it spawns inside their base & you have virtually no protection & they have forcefield, so you quite literally cannot kill them.

For the server size to be 20 (10 on each team) & the win goal to be 25, everyone would only have to die 2ish times for the game to be over. Unless the extremely quick gameplay is intended, id probably up the treasure to -5/-7 pts, and the team goal to 50pts, or adjust it dynamically for low player counts.

The 5th tool (flopping fish emote icon?) doesn’t really make sense unless its like a dodge? It shoots you backwards, not forwards, which I thought it was supposed to be a diving/disembarking pirate escape effect, which would be weird for it to be backwards.

Having the timebomb not kill you, instead just flinging you when exploding could add good movement, seen in OG doomspire brickbattle… while also giving a use for the seemingly useless parachute.

I greatly appreciate the feedback and will be implementing some of these considerations into the game. Thanks again.
