Support Browser-Style Script Tab Insertion and Reordering

As a Roblox developer, it is currently too hard to maintain an organized workspace when frequently detaching and reattaching script tabs.

I often detach scripts into separate windows while comparing code, referencing another script, or working across multiple monitors. Once I’m finished, I usually want to return those scripts to roughly the same place in my tab bar so my workspace stays organized.

The problem is that whenever a detached tab is reattached to the main editor, it is always appended to the end of the tab strip. In projects with many open scripts, I intentionally keep related tabs grouped together and ordered by workflow or system. Having every reattached tab placed at the end means I must manually drag it back across potentially dozens of tabs every time.

This discourages me from using detached windows as often as I otherwise would, despite them being an incredibly useful feature. The larger the project becomes, the more disruptive this workflow is.

If this issue is addressed, it would improve my development experience because I could freely move scripts between detached windows and the main editor without losing my workspace organization or spending time repeatedly restoring my preferred tab layout.

One possible way to address this would be to allow detached tabs to be inserted into any position in the main tab strip while dragging them back, similar to how modern web browsers and many IDEs display an insertion indicator between existing tabs. This would let developers dock a tab exactly where they intend instead of always at the end.

I agree! This needs to be added ASAP! It’s slowing down our productivity.
