Support Form AI Assistant Claims DevEx Ticket Was Escalated, but No Support Ticket Is Created

When attempting to contact Roblox Support about a DevEx issue, the support form’s AI assistant states that it is escalating the case to a human agent and that a follow-up email will be sent shortly. The conversation then immediately ends.

However, no Roblox Support confirmation email, ticket number, or follow-up message is ever received. I have checked my inbox, spam, and junk folders. This makes the message shown by the assistant misleading, as it appears to confirm that a ticket has been created when no ticket was actually submitted.

This issue seemingly makes it impossible to contact the DevEx team about account-specific problems, since the AI assistant ends the conversation and pretends it created a support ticket when it really didn’t.

For context, my specific issue is that the DevEx tab in Creator Hub still shows my previous payout request as “Pending,” even though Tipalti approved the payment more than a week ago. Creator Hub has usually updated within one or two days after approval. Because the old request remains pending, I am prevented from submitting another DevEx request.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Open the Roblox Support form and select a DevEx-related issue.
  2. Explain an issue that requires assistance from the DevEx or Tipalti team.
  3. The AI assistant says it is escalating the case to a human agent by email.
  4. The conversation ends, but no support ticket confirmation or follow-up email is received.

I am running into the same issue, it has been 3 weeks since I updated my payment information but my DevEx request is not being processed.

The AI chatbot is refusing to help me, and claims to have forwarded the message to support but I have not received a single email.

I don’t know how they’ve implemented such a broken system :man_facepalming: contacting the DevEx team was essential for me when getting my first ever DevEx payments and is seemingly impossible for others now.

In good news though, overnight my root issue seems to have been fixed:

I am glad it worked out for you, although it’s still worrying how much they are relying on AI for everything nowadays

I could’ve sworn DevEx Tickets were all handled by humans just a few months ago, now it’s all just a broken robotic system
