Survival…IN SPACE?!

I recently started creating a sort of “space survival system”. I wanted to make a game where you survive on a space station that’s lost communications, trying to keep a good food source via plants, recovering from disasters (asteroids hitting the ship, depriving areas of oxygen, etc). I don’t know if I should make a custom gravity system so there is no “up” or if I should keep it a flat plane, or change the concept to like aΓǪ space hunger games? Either way, this is what I have.

I currently use custom movements as well. Also, don’t jump when outside of the rooms. There is no gravity. (If you have low framerate, the 3rd person camera might glitch a bit. Q toggles first and 3rd)

Sorry, no pictures :frowning:

Also, apparently Gyazo images don’t show. Just go to the links I guess.

No offense, but those are really bad screenshots. I have no idea what I’m looking at.

Sort of unnecessary and uninformative post.

On topic though, that does sound like a really fun game. I’d love to see what you do with the concept further.

I like how the lung Gui starts to go down once you’re outside. But jumping needs tweaking because I just fly straight up and never come down.

If there is no gravity what’s keeping you on the ground in the first place

There is gravity. Just not outside of the room.

Gyazo images do show, you just need to right click them, and copy shortcut.

And even using Gyazo at all… just ew.
