Sword with meshed blade

I decided to use some Blender and meshed the blade and hilt of this katana. Feedback appreciated!

Also was wondering if this kind of hilt would be better:

Not really sure if this is supposed to be a katana or a regular sword. If its a katana, then add a curve in the katana. The texture of the handle is too grainy, and feels too hard. If anything add some detail to the top of the handle. Also maybe seperate the actual sharp part of the blade color from the main part of the blade. Other than those things it looks great. Very clean.

I think it might be better now.

I’m not very good at blender so I managed to only make the top of the handle simple. As for the texture of the handle I don’t know how to make textures, so I used fabric material.
