Tagging Developer Products as surrogates for Paid Random Items

With the new Roblox Shop being available, and AI used to tag items for developers and auto-set to list, some of us were blindsided where dev products that triggered rolls for items became available for users in countries where PolicyService get paid random items that did not have them available.

To make it easier for the new Roblox shop, and in general for Roblox to comply with local regulations in those countries, it would make life easier for both us and Roblox so that we could tag developer product items when they are either surrogates for items, as an example that a crate is 29 Robux, but the dev product item lets you pick and choose any item for 129 Robux (only available in that region to do so)

or that the dev product is a paid random item and it rolls immediately after purchasing.

this could be done via the dashboard or studio, whichever works.

At this time, we recommend not listing Paid Random Items in Shop.

The feature request is helpful feedback, and we’ll keep it in mind as we continue to improve Shop.

That is understood, but as Roblox AI categorizes and sets it up to be on-sale, and our ability to turn the shop off via dashboard does not work, this can be missed by other developers. Would be good to remind developers to look it over so they are not accidentally out of compliance.
