Our goal?
To build one of the most immersive, fluid, and life-like parkour experiences on Roblox.
We’re drawing inspiration from amazing franchises like:
• Dying Light 1 & 2
• Mirror’s Edge / Mirror’s Edge: Catalyst
• And other movement-driven masterpieces
You’ll scale towering rooftops, leap impossible gaps, and navigate a living, breathing concrete jungle built to make every movement feel intentional and satisfying.
This isn’t just about running.
It’s about momentum. Flow. Adrenaline.
We’re excited to bring you along for the journey

@Delightyes Great question! We’re aiming for a story-driven experience but will also have free roam of course! Similar to the franchises explained! The game will consist of both Singleplayer and/or Multiplayer
We are mainly focusing on immersion, through atmosphere and narrative, that pushes the player through the city.
The fun will come from the thrill of the rush, freeform, fluidity, and being able to easily navigate without restrictions, Multiplayer would be included in the free roam, to challenge, an explore with other users around such a big city.
TL;DR
Solo; Story-Driven exploration/challenges
Multiplayer; Free form roam, unlocks all challenges all routes
Not to be a downer or demotivate you because the map looks sick and the parkour system Max open sourced seems like a good indication the movement for this would be cool. But there are already big games in the already niche genre the project is targeting, I’m just wondering what the plan for this is since without a unique identity you’re risking on relying on polish for player retention. That’s not a bad thing or anything, but putting more emphasis on the parts of the experience that would be unique to your project might help given time trials, good movement, and atmosphere are expectations at this point rather than features for these types of games.
It doesn’t look like the projects been up for long so ignore all that if it’s just too early to hand out details or I’m being presumptuous. Good luck.
Good evening @BirdMaan55 ! – Thanks for the constructive feedback.
I am fully aware of the section I am diving into.
We have been working on the project for a few months, we just have not put any updates of current status of it yet, as for I really haven’t had the chance to record it just yet.
But I have taken all that into account of what you mentioned – the ultimate goal of this project was to create something enjoyable, an worthwhile.
I have numerous mechanics an features that I have in mind to make Max an I’s project stand out – an of course I wouldn’t of let the environment be the only good element of the game!
They must both be in unison – if one over the other it will feel out of place, or overwhelming.
My number one top priority is fluidity! If not done properly, everything will feel janky, instead of responsive
I’d like to also note, we aren’t working from the open-source that Max initially made, as for we both agreed that it’d be better made from scratch / fresh.
– I also seen the parkour game your working on, I have to say it looks pretty good aswell :") I wish you the best on it!
Appreciate the reply man. Regardless of uniqueness, as long as it’s enjoyable it’s a success. I really didn’t mean to poke so much but it’s cool to hear you guys got stuff in mind. The posts I made were just meant to show the projects I was messing with to test movement and get better at iteration on game feel from others, so no game to pitch but thanks for the compliment. Hope the progress is speedy man.
