Terrain Paint Brush Issue

Hello,

I’m not aware of any paint brushes colliding with lighting as I’ve not encountered said problem until today while I was working and wanted to paint a mud road, until then my terrain paint brush would suddenly disappear near light or objects, I’m not quite sure if it’s a studio issue, or if it’s one of my settings. Appended below is a Gyazo gif of the issue I’m facing.

As seen above, whenever I hover near lit areas or solid models, the brush would disappear. If anyone could provide with an answer, it would be most appreciated, thanks.

Have u tried moving the model/Building out of the workspace ?
And then try it

Yes, I’ve tried moving around the model, however, my friend was able to brush past the model so I’m assuming this is something on my end.

U might have to reset studio since as the time goes on Studio starts having issues like
Lag
Server reaction time
FPS
and some roblox features

This might have something to do with unions or invisible walls.
Do you have any unions where their hitboxes are within the area you’re looking to paint?
Are there any invisible parts (game boundaries, lighting/particle bricks, etc.) that are over the area you want to paint?

Issue seems to still occur after resetting both Studios and settings.

No, I’ve moved all surrounding models out to test it. However, as I said, my friend was able to paint past all of it.

You’ve most likely already tried this, but if you go incredibly low to the ground can you then paint on the mud?
(If this doesn’t work then I don’t know how to fix it. Sorry.)

Yeah, I’ve tried it already unfortunately. I’ll just wait it out and see if anything happens.

I am having this issue too

The terrain brush would at random go underneath the other parts of the terrain just as OP described.

Have you been able to find a solution?
