Terrain tips and tricks?

I want to start working with terrain, but I don’t really know where to start. Does anyone have some tips and/or tricks for working with terrain?

I think this is the right category? Please correct me if I am wrong :frowning:

Just start working and you’ll learn stuff during that. Tip: Terracing can be a good idea if you’re making terrain from scratch since it’s a lot easier to make manually. That’s all I can think of for now.

First If you are wanting to make a mountain don’t put too much rock first make it all with normal grass first and paint a few areas with rock ( don’t paint Too big ) and use Grow Thing and it would have great looking.
Second if you want a realistic view Do this : go to the Lighting settings and select shadow type as “Future”

This is the video that I learned from on how to do terrain. And he explains everything like lighting and etc. Hope this helps.
