The automated AI moderation bot made a mistake and permanently terminated my account for “Terrorism/Extremism.”
I was just talking to a friend in Roblox DMs about a game design idea. I said the words “comboy-ish… like dollhouse larp typa thing” to describe the map style we wanted to build. The system completely misread the context and flagged it.
I already tried the regular appeal dashboard, but the automated system denied it and closed the case. This is a clear bug with the text filter algorithm. It cannot tell the difference between development terms and actual violations.
I was affected by this on September 7, 2026 seen by the picture, I’m missing out on playing Roblox events, updating my game, hosting free ugc events and more
This has led to the ai also locking my groups to how serious the ban reason is.
Bumping this thread as a critical emergency because this backend filter bug remains unresolved. The account ItsRede1 has been terminated for over 22 days now, it’s been almost 30 days since the false postive terminated my account.
Current Status: Ticket #181744478 has been stuck in the automated support queue for 22 days without human intervention.
Action Taken: A formal physical Notice of Dispute was delivered to Roblox Legal in San Mateo on September 12th to initiate the statutory 60-day review phase.
The Bug: AI Moderation bot completely failed at reading the context of the party chat, which me and my friend were trying to brainstorm ideas of what style our game should be.
If an internal administrator, Developer Relations staff member, or community manager see this thread, please manually pull Ticket #181744478 to freeze the automated data deletion. Years of development studio work are at risk of being permanently deleted due to an unreviewed system logic error.
Bumping this thread too because it is by now a WIDELY KNOWN ISSUE, and Roblox has yet to fixed it, nor the “so crying rn” rwse bans.

Dude my appeals dont even work that way like regulars, because of that roblox keeps telling me to report it through “violations & appeals” which i do not understand. I literally do as it says but still doesn’t put in
Happened to my friend as well. She was PMing me on Roblox saying that there was a “comboss” avatar in a game. Her messages kept getting filtered and came out wrong. The flagged messages were “IM wti comboss” and “IM WITH THE COM”.
Obviously, without context, this does sound kind of bad, but regardless of explaining it in appeals, it’ll just get rejected with a copy-paste email. But don’t forget, these messages were literally filtered and were not sent, yet it still resulted in a termination. Roblox needs to look into this ASAP.
