Texture Union Bug

Does anyone have a solution for this union bug? When adding a decal to a part, it shows it is on the left face in properties, but appears on the back face in reality. After switching to the face it actually appears correct on it’s distorted.

make a 1x1x1 negative part away from the part, union it with the affected object (select the negative part first)
