Expected behavior
I expected roblox studio to run smooth like it always has with this device.
Note other developers in the teamcreate are experiencing the same issue.
This has also been happening in live games, and it’s fairly annoying in tandem with the recently noted horrible performance with CoreUI (ExperienceChatMain, etc). For me it’s usually these wavy spikes on the microprofiler. It mostly seems to be CullJob, even when there’s barely anything on-scene, even to the point of a BSOD (reported by a few users for a game I work for, and myself especially)
Just started getting the processPendingRequests problem after using Studio for a couple hours, no clue why. I don’t know if it occurred during the weekend/previously in general as I tend to restart Studio frequently but it makes Studio pretty much unusable after a while. No abnormal CPU, GPU or memory usage either, and it subsides for me after restarting.
Unsure if it’s related but I also am getting this error: Failed to upload TexturePack (Reason: PublishService AssetUpload failed. Info: Unknown Error ErrorCode: Unknown). PBR textures may not be visible in game. Change a TextureId property to retry.
Windows 10 Pro 22H2 19045.3803
AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D @ 4.20GHz
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090

Have every beta feature enabled except AvatarAbilities and multi-touch
This has been happening to me as well. For me, it gets very noticeable when having a lot of textures in a place and sitting idle. Despite my efforts to work around the problem by disabling texture streaming entirely (among other reasons), the issue is so much more pronounced in this release. The texture manager is clearly broken
This issue seems to happen for people with the “MaterialVariant: Alpha Mode” beta enabled. Once all our team members disabled it, we have had zero performance issues.
