Textures disappearing at random and assets failing to load

Below are a few images of Textures just missing. This happens randomly, even after they have existed and were perfectly loaded in previously. Once it happens, all instances of that texture are hit with the issue, however wich textures are affected, and when, is not clear yet.

System Specs

  • OS: Windows 11 Home (Build 26200)
  • Device: Lenovo 90XE0000GF
  • CPU: Intel Core i7-14650HX (16 cores / 24 threads, 2.20 GHz base)
  • RAM: 16 GB DDR5 @ 5600 MT/s
  • GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 (8 GB) + Intel UHD Graphics
  • Storage: WD PC SN740 1TB NVMe SSD (C:) + Toshiba 1TB external USB (D:)
  • Network: Realtek Gaming 2.5GbE Ethernet

Repro and log files contains private content; I was unable to DM the bug-files group (insufficient trust level/permissions). Happy to share via another channel if a staff member reaches out.

Yes, this randomly happens after the game is booted for 3-4 minutes. The reproduction is intermittent: some days it happens on every single Play/Stop cycle, other times it doesn’t happen at all on the same place and same machine.

System information:

This might be it, I will test restarting studio the next time it happens and will mark the solution if it works. If not, I will proceed with contacting customer support to share my log files.
