I recently got brought regular BC for a year. I could be close to cashing out soon and It’s quite frustrating to have to pay again to be able to cash out (to change to OBC, you’ll have to pay for a monthly/yearly membership) sure the rest of your BC year membership will convert to OBC but I don’t want to stay on OBC. I’ll probably move to OBC and keep it for a few weeks and move back down to BC. Why? Because I don’t need what OBC offers me of 100 places, 100 groups etc etc and to pay much more and get less days of being in a BC membership. The main focus on buying a BC membership (to me) is to be able to get more of my money from games (instead of a crippling 10%)

I, and certainly many others would appreciate it if we could easily move up and down between memberships as our needs expand or contract. Either that or could it be possible again for BC and TBC members to cash out? (Maybe only yearly BC/TBC members to reduce the amount?) if you’re worried about too many people cashing out, raise the minimum bar for BC/TBC to 250k. I would gladly save up more knowing I can cash out on BC/TBC with no additional cost of moving membership.

I know my host for a server I have allows me to easily move up and down requirements at no additional upfront cost. Do I need 500GB more storage? Better processor? Just move up a tier or contact them for specific needs
International payments are also painful when it comes to fees/conversion fees

I’m fairly sure this is like it is so that someone can’t buy a month of BC, convert to OBC real quick, devex, then convert back to BC.

If you pay for yearly BC, and buy monthly OBC, you get a year of OBC for the price of yearly BC + a month of OBC (cheaper than a year of OBC)? That doesn’t sound right. Buy OBC monthly when you have BC, cancel the subscription after you DevEx, and after the month is up I’m pretty sure you’ll revert back down to your yearly BC automatically.

It converts your year of BC to OBC time, but if you switch back to normal BC it’ll convert it back, so you won’t really lose time. So you won’t get a year of OBC, you’ll get a couple of months.

I would much prefer having normal BC and then having to pay a small fee to use DevEx RATHER than having OBC all the time or swapping memberships!

I’m just glad I got lifetime OBC back in 2011.
