Thank you
I want to start by saying thank you to everyone who’s supported my latest project, the Ninja Warrior Chill revamp. I was borderline obsessed with RNW games as a kid, so being able to make a ninja game that resonates with so many people is still a massive privilege I don’t take for granted.
What the revamp means to me
Something I don’t usually talk about is that I used to hate this game. I used to feel ashamed that it was my most popular game because it was as a low-effort passion project I made just for fun. So one of my main goals was to turn it into something I’m genuinely proud of, and I can confidently say I exceeded that benchmark.
I also wanted to pay homage to some of my personal favorite RNW games. I think the diary is a good first step in bringing together a community that’s often divided. It’s healthy to appreciate these games as products of the same subgenre, rather than comparing or bashing people’s projects. (Also, it’s been so fun reading the diary entries some of you have been leaving!)
Moving forward
So what’s next on the agenda?
I’ll probably never fully move on from making RNW content. I’ve tried to “go out with a bang” twice now (once in 2020 with Ninja Warrior Ultimate, again in 2024 with Ninja Legend), yet I always find myself coming back to the subgenre I love. I’ll probably revisit Chill one day, but I don’t expect it to be my main focus for a while.
Looking forward, I’m working on three new experiences. Two are collaborative passion projects just for fun. The other, which we’ll call Game 9 for now, is my next major solo release. The collab projects may or may not even see the light of day, so no promises there.
As it stands, Game 9 will be a story-driven adventure game, completely unlike anything I’ve ever made before, and I hope to release it by August. This is a type of game I’ve wanted to make for a while now, so it’ll be my main focus as far as Roblox goes.
Thanks again to anyone who’s supported my projects thus far. Here’s to a happy resolution for Chill, and to new beginnings ![]()
