The Galactic Republic or TGR for short is one of the biggest Star Wars based groups on the roblox platform clocking in over 100k+ members. Established in 02/27/16 TGR has been thriving ever since, now being led by Palioxis.
We are looking for a programmer that has a good work ethic, dedication, and can share the same vision we have. We are looking for a programmer who can script our new Border based game, the map is fully complete and just needs scripting. With taking this job you will be required to stay on the team for content updates. Further details will be told in private. Requirements:
You must have to have at least 2-3 years of experience
What kind of scripts are you looking for? The thread is very vague when it comes to this, and this is arguably one of the most important things. Do you need custom weapons systems, UI programming (and if so do the UI designs need to be created?), scripted animations, etc. Everyone’s time is wasted if a programmer who is experienced, but maybe something like weapons aren’t their specialty, contacts you just to find out that what you expect from them isn’t something that they can deliver.
Furthermore, how much robux are you offering as an upfront? There’s not really a point to keeping it private (even if it’s just personal preference). If it’s a high amount, you’ll probably end up enticing more serious programmers who only work for high pay. If it’s not known or it’s just vaguely discussed like “a generous sum” you run the risk of A. people not contacting you because they just assume it will be on the low side and that’s why you’re not putting it publicly, B. people contact you expecting it to be much higher than it is and then eventual waste both your and their time if they discover it’s not as much as they expected and decide not to take the job, and C. (as already mentioned) you lose experienced programmers who simply assume it’s either not a lot of pay or would prefer to save themselves the effort of contacting you and just work for someone who gives the exact figures upfront.
