This chest that I have been working on suddenly just changed to entirely white but only on the inside.

I might…? When you did that brown square shaped thing, was it made into a union, like you negated a part from it? I believe I had an issue similar to this before if it was.

Alright, I believe it has to do with the color of the part you used strangely, go ahead and separate the two, change the color of the part to the same brown color, and union them again. This is what worked for me.
