The North Pole Showcase

The North Pole
It is one of the experiences that has made me proud because here I love to see the graphics of the map as the water and the shadows, however this is a showcase
(Opinions that more is missing with pleasure I will accept them, and please be observant in what there is)
This showcase is dedicated mainly as is life there with the freezing cold and the daily routine of some animals as well as civilization (we are still building the frozen city

(UNDERWATER)

Incredible! I love how you included a fictional frozen city at the north pole!

The majority of these builds are free models.

I’ve removed the tags from your title–those should go into the tags area. :slightly_smiling_face:

@Smogy_Developer Free models are free for a reason. Seamlessly blending them together is a big task on its own.

Shiny Bears. What more is there to say?

I like your showcase! Although, I personally don’t use free models, I think they look nice! How long did it take to make? (If you don’t mind me asking)

Only about 2 days but I guess it was worth it

Keep up the great work! Never give up!

A lot of reason in what it says about the models, however I put them to guide me to make mine in blender, Thanks for your help too

Facts, but it’s the majority, atleast have the majority be your own work.

Friend, the joke about free models is also that you use the ones that suit you the most and apart from how they look on the map, don’t you think?

You could re-make them atleast and show off.

Of course I’ll do it in blender

If I would team up with a terrain builder, my number one pick would be you. Amazing detail and all, the clocktower is really good. Overall :+1:
Everything is clean and smooth. I just don’t see any flaws.

Looking so realistic until you create a Sun’s script which goes not so up in the sky the Sun in the North Pole always remain in the same position because that’s how the Earth rotation in the North Pole works.

Concerning the overall appearance of your showcase, it is very nice, however I feel like most of the areas are just throw with trees around the entire map, maybe try creating 2 or 3 types of variety of trees so it doesn’t look repetitive if you know what I mean It is, quite clearly, that the place seems plain maybe try adding buildings or different types of animals and maybe icicle hanging from the buildings or some even on the trees giving it a more natural feeling to it.

The trees could use some more detail you know how every tree has the seem similar design to it the bottom of the trunk should be placed with roots connected to the ground, giving it a more realistic feel. Snow is also good. You can also add some on the leaves and maybe leaving ‘green space’ on the treetop to look more natural. If you plan on creating different trees I would add some branches. Just a few of them. Make the tree trunk higher and somewhere on the tree, I would place a few branches make them have different angles.

Maybe even add a little cabin in the trees, maybe that’ll improve the overall design of the showcase. Anyways it’s a good build.

I’d reccomend replacing the free models with your own version, otherwise it blends okay
