Hi all,
The ROBLOX European Meetup (REM) took place on Sunday and I wanted to give you all some insight of some of the things we did and share with you some memories from the day.
For those asking “What’s he talking about?”,
Last Sunday, myself and @yrrebRBLX hosted the world’s first ever Community-Organised ROBLOX event after 6 strenuous months of planning. We had InceptionTime join us as well as Jparty who flew all the way from California to spend the day with us.
The turnout was amazing. When I first raised the event to Kris (CellBloxTango) I told her we’d love to have 25 people attend, well we had over 60 in the hall on Sunday and I couldn’t have asked for anything more.
Apart from some internet issues throughout the day, everyone seemed to have an awesome time and we’ve had some really positive feedback both from the ROBLOX staff and the attendees. I’d like to give my thanks to @yrrebRBLX once again who worked tirelessly on the event with me but also my team of staff - without you guys, the event wouldn’t have happened.
We were honoured to have the ROBLOX CEO, David Baszucki, who woke up at 6:45 AM PST to video skype call everyone here at the event in the UK and for that, he has my thanks.
