Current Version: 14.0
Version Released: January 15, 2022
Winter thrives!
Winter continues to thrive in The Sitting Room this year until March 20, 2022! We’ll see our standard year-round map return then.By the way - this is an experimental change. I’d love to hear your feedback regarding if you’d like to see this happen again in future years! Make sure to tweet us over on Twitter.
Developers and contributors are now more clearly marked
Any TSR developer will now have a separate icon in the corner of their Verified indicator. This change, of course, follows the addition of their chat tags.
Interested in becoming AD™ Verified? Read about the program here.Added live character updating
Was having to reset to change your avatar getting annoying? We thought so, too. Any avatar change you make on the website will immediately overlay directly into the game.
And no, we didn’t remove the reset option. It surprisingly still has a good enough use to keep it.Added away indicators
Have you ever been talking with someone and realized that they’re not paying attention to Roblox? Now you’ll know with the addition of an away indicator. As soon as they minimize their Roblox window, you’ll see a unique tag appear above their head.Note that the indicator only appears when their Roblox window is minimized. If they aren’t paying attention and their Roblox window isn’t minimized, the indicator will not appear.
Aj just got smarter
Aj’s dialogue has been completely redone from top to bottom to assist players better. Hopefully, he’ll be able to answer some of your more burning questions!“Hi! Please take this map.” - Map Bot is here, Five Nights at Freddy’s: Security Breach fans.
We’ve added a hidden panel that plays all your favorite pieces of Map Bot dialogue. As an added secret, you may even hear Sun a few times! Security alert! Security alert! Wooo! Woooo!Feel free to play with the panel anytime with the commands /enableEvent MapBot & /disableEvent MapBot.
Developer's Note
Happy New Year from Admixxion Development™! While we can't promise 2022 will be the year we return to our normal 2018 lives, there's still hope. If we continue to follow COVID protocols, such as to isolate when you're sick, we'll get through this pandemic. But, on a more positive note, what are your 2022 New Years’ resolutions? Everyone has them, yet most people seem to drop them within weeks of the New Year. At Admixxion Development™, we resolve to create more enjoyable updates for you with our various titles.
Let’s talk about this new version, though, because while it isn’t as big as our previous 13.0, there’s still some pretty cool stuff in it. A great example of this very concept is the live character updating, something that most people thought was impossible.
Let’s hope 2022 can be better than our last three. We’ll see you back here again soon for our next version, 15.0.
Happy 2022, y’all.

Happy December! Celebrate the season with the winter edition of the map! -
Enabled Spatial Voice (Roblox Voice Chat)
The Sitting Room’s goal is to create a space for everyone to hang out with friends, meet new people, and have a place to relax when it’s needed. We’ve now made it easier to chat with people by enabling Spatial Voice, otherwise known as Roblox Voice Chat. If you’ve verified your age on Roblox, you can now use Spatial Voice in The Sitting Room. Learn more about age verification and how to verify your age here. -
Added Admixxion Development™ Player Verification Program support
You’ll now see a checkmark above the heads of AD™ verified players. Learn more about Admixxion Development™’s Player Verification Program here. -
Added custom player name tags
Wouldn’t you say Roblox’s default name tags were getting a bit boring? We’ve now added custom player tags that replace the default. Don’t you love seeing your name? Thanks to Admixxion Development™ Insider nevrostics for suggesting the idea. -
Fixed prompt chat commands
No more do you have to deal with annoying season-exclusive chat commands for prompts - now you only have to use “/enableprompts” and “/enableprompt [PromptName]”. And to disable the prompts, replace “enable” with “disable”.
Remember, though: the prompt names are GlassDoor, Fireplace, Television, and Light. -
Added Snow Shoveler badge
Get shoveling! This badge is obtainable by clicking the shovel behind the couch farthest from the Christmas tree, clearing the snow piles outside, and clicking the red present next to Aj.
Please note this badge is only obtainable during December. -
Added Color Coder badge
You’re a color coder, eh? This badge is obtainable by clicking the wrench behind Aj, touching the wall next to the Christmas tree from the outside with the wrench, entering the colors displayed inside (starting on the fireplace wall then going to the opposite wall) on the code pad, then clicking the green present behind the couch farthest from the Christmas tree.
You know I did my job correctly when even the Admixxion Development™ Insiders struggled to figure it out. Thanks to all of them for being such good sports, especially nevrostics. In the end, though, they did figure it out - with my help, that is. -
Updated Laggy Experience
The Sitting Room: Laggy Experience has been updated with the newest TSR features and will receive the same updates as the main The Sitting Room. Play it here. -
Added randomized photo decor
Remember those photos on the shelf next to Aj? They were never changed and were the same since The Sitting Room’s launch until now. They now randomly generate per server with thirteen possible photos. -
Added new soundtrack options
The current options were getting a bit old. Although we can’t fully fix the issue, we can always help by adding new choices. You’ll now find eleven new options, making a total of twenty-nine.
13.1 (December 4, 2021)
-
Added Birthday Party badge
Happy birthday, Admixxion! This badge is obtainable by clicking the Christmas tree and waiting through the birthday sequence. We recommend getting as close as possible to the tree; otherwise, you may not see the click detector.
Please note this badge is only obtainable on the developer’s birthday, December 4. -
Adjusted Color Coder badge sequence
Not a huge change, just a minor adjustment - the code pad and color display panels will now only disappear after the present has been clicked at least once.
We made this change to help prevent confusion about the next step after completing the code.
13.2 (December 5, 2021)
- Removed Birthday Party badge
Unfortunately, this badge is hard to obtain due to only being obtainable one day per year, and that one day is up. The badge is now unobtainable for the next 364 days. If you didn’t obtain it for its’ second year, tough luck - you’ll have to wait until December 4, 2022. And to think it was going to be removed yesterday night!
Developer's Note
Happy Holidays y’all.
Version 12.0 (October 1, 2021)
-
Added fall map (and removed spring/summer map)
To celebrate the season, we’ve decorated for fall! -
Changed prompt-activation commands
Chat commands such as “/enableprompts” have now been changed to “/enablefallprompts”; the same goes with specific prompt commands (use “/enablefallprompt [PromptName]” instead of “/enableprompt [PromptName]”). -
Reorganized the backend structure
Developers don’t usually admit that their games are unorganized if they are, but we’ll tell you that TSR didn’t look the prettiest. That’s now changed, and we’re hoping to be able to update the game faster than ever. No more spaghetti code here!
Version 11.0 (August 21, 2021)
-
Removed Version Celebration: 10.0 badge
It’s sad to see it go, but it had to end eventually. It’s permanently unobtainable, and owners might get something in the future! -
Added Developer’s Safe event
There’s something in that safe! Please note this event is not enabled by default and requires a developer to activate it. -
Added Upside Down badge
It’s like being in a whole new world… one that’s upside down, that is! The badge is obtainable by visiting the badge room (go to the waterfall) and touching the corresponding badge pad. -
Added Developer’s Book badge
Nobody knows what the book contains- but it sure must be necessary to be locked in that safe! The badge is obtainable by unlocking the safe in the Developer’s Safe event and clicking the book.
Version 10.0 (June 20, 2021)
-
Added version release paper
This is a way to check the server’s current version to see if the server is up-to-date with the latest update. It can be seen behind one of the couches. -
Added Horror Edition badge
Unlike how the title suggests, it’s not scary. It’s an unreleased version of the game containing the original lighting plans. It’s obtainable by visiting the badge room (head to the waterfall). -
Added Version Celebration: 10.0 badge
To celebrate one year and version 10.0, you can only obtain this badge until version 11.0. It’s obtained by clicking the version release paper. -
Added vote-to-kick system
Is someone interrupting the server’s conversations? Don’t worry, just type “/voteKick [player]” to kick someone! Please note it should only be used when a person is ruining everyone’s fun. Please note that each person can only create a vote-to-kick event every two (2) minutes. -
