The torso of my custom character model is not rotating

Just as the title states,
The torso of my custom character model is not rotating…
I’m sure there’s a simple answer but I’ve surfed the internet and could not find anything related to my issue.

YES

  1. I have un-anchored everything except the HumanoidRootPart
  2. I have anchored and unanchored everything
  3. I’m pretty sure I rigged it properly. HRP to Torso, Torso to etc.

Everything except the torso is moving and rotating.

I also want to make my character walk without a Humanoid, so would I use BodyVelocity or something of the sorts?

Have you unchecked the Collisions or Constraints boxes in the Model toolbar?
Also, what happens when you select and Rotate the HumanoidRootPart?

Make sure your Snap to Grid is the right number

Not the issue.

You can’t select the HumanoidRootPart in the Animation editor @Scottifly .

No I do not have collisions on

Haven’t used the Animation Editor. Does it require that the rootpart is Anchored?

No it does not. I tried both with the rootpart anchored and not anchored if you read above.

Everyone please read carefully.
Thanks again! :slightly_smiling_face:

Try to rejoin the studio
maybe it works

I read what you posted. You never actually stated that the HumanoidRootPart was anything but Anchored.

Sadly, the issue still persist. Can you please make multiple possible solutions in one post similar to what @Scottifly did in the first post? I don’t like cluttered topics.

Yes scottifly I noticed this. But my point was that I tried all the like. I have updated it.

This is what the Motor6D’s look like…

To me everything looks fine. If someone sees something wrong I’d like to know.

I found the issue, It was adding an AnimationController instance stopped everything from moving.
