Hi. This game is a ‘test’ (kind of). It’s somewhat done and I just need a name so it is a test for now. Hooray! We have a game name now. It uses a gun system and a zombie system I made, pretty lightweight. The gun uses raycasting and handles almost nothing on the client so it is very hard to exploit, and the rounds are handled with for loops and repeat loops. Here’s the game link: zombie test - Roblox
I’ll be waiting in it for a bit, so you’ll probably see me there
Overall its a pretty good game and has a lot of potential. I feel like if you add more depth like more weapons and enemies you can turn it into a very good game. I like the GUI and would really like it if you added bullets or something that comes out of the gun to make the game more dynamic.
This is actually really good! The core gameplay is pretty solid. Since you started this two days ago, you’re likely going to add more features.
Definitely will be following development in the future, it’s enjoyable even in it’s current state.
Thanks! I’m still working on it. I’m already thinking about different weapons for each level, and I will make different types of zombies. I’ll also make bullets to visualize it, and I will keep working on improving it!
Upon joining, the biggest thing I noticed that needs polishing is the UI. Obviously assuming this is a demo, that isn’t very much needed but in the future definitely should be worked on.
Some of the things that should be included in future updates is more sound work, more clarification on what the player is to do, more detail and effort put into weapons/models/maps(Better use of textures and particals), removing the lobby and going for a more menu based feel, along with other quality of life additions.
At a general gameplay point of view, it has the possibilities to be turned in to a quality game with hours of fun especially with friends.
Given enough time, I’m sure you will achieve success! Keep it up.
Thanks! I’m already working on the ui. Alot of other people also want me to add sounds, so I’ll also do that. I’m working on making a tutorial, and improving the maps.
I also agree with your last point, I’d just need some improvements.
