Earlier today on 2025-08-14T23:21:00Z, the word “discord” seems to have been completely uncensored for me. On a test account, i noticed the word was suddenly uncensored on a display name:
As a reminder, directing users off platform is against the Roblox Community Standards which confuses me why this has been uncensored and is mostlikely a technical issue
I believe this is not intended since you are now able to say discord with your handle. Previously it was bug reported but it was much stricter but now it’s almost able to be said everywhere
Quick Update: I just checked it and people under 13 also have the same behavior. I do understand why people think discord should be uncensored but my main concern is that bad people will use this to direct users off platform
Expecially when it’s uncensored and visible for users under the age of 13
I do appreciate better ways to get your friends to a different platform but this solution isn’t it considering this occurred for users of all ages which includes users under 13. Considering the current situation with Roblox i think it’s best that this gets fixed
It should be possible with expressive chat features to disable the filter entirely between friends
