"This community has been locked"

I recently had a problem with moderation, and at this point it seems pretty ridiculous to me.

Five days ago, my Roblox group (or community), which I use for developing my experiences, was locked by “participating in the unauthorized buying or selling of items, Robux, or accounts in exchange for real-world currency”, After looking into the case a bit, I discovered that what caused this was using Devex to convert my Robux to cash; I was literally penalized for using a feature that Roblox itself offers.

Because it was my first time using Devex, I received an invitation to the portal and registered on Tipalti; the next day, my group had been locked.

I received no alert, warning, or notice that the group was going to be moderated, I didn’t receive the money from the devex, and I didn’t get back the 30,000 robux that I supposedly converted And to top it all off, they took away my group which had 260,000 robux in funds.

At this point I don’t know what to do. The appeal I sent clarifying everything was rejected, and the other tickets were simply ignored.

Because of this, and to top it all off, my experience is completely ruined by players being unable to update because the group is locked.

Is there anything else I can do? I’ve seen more cases like this, and I don’t want to have to fight with Roblox support for a month or more to get my group back.

This is unacceptable call Roblox and demand they open your group!!! :enraged_face:

Is there any way I can request that the group be restored? I’ve only done it through support; I heard there’s a phone number to contact them as well, however, I am a minor and because of that I have some limitations

Just to update, all my appeals to Roblox support were rejected, what else can I do?

Keep appealing, the appeals are rejected by AI or people outsourced by roblox who have no context and usually dont even speak english

I’ve been submitting tickets with the appeal for over a week, and these are literally the only two responses I ever receive.


Yeah those are AI, try wording your appeal differently, keep it short and simple, don’t put blame on roblox staff in it and slightly hint on it being an error of AI moderation
