This is My First GFX. What do you think?

Hey, this is my first ever GFX and i feel looking at other people’s GFX it isn’t the best though, i am proud of it. I was wondering what could i do to improve it?

Thanks.

This is nice for a beginner, but the lighting sucks. You can improve or add more lights to it so it wouldn’t look too pale. You can also try rendering it on Cycles instead of Evee. It makes your Gfx look nicer and smoother but it is optional though. It’s up to you if you want it rendered in Evee or Cycles.

Is this a GFX for the sketchy game called “Strategy” or a GFX of CV10K?

That’s nice for a beginner but you should probably add some lightrooms, ambient occlusion, glow etc… I recommend watching some tutorials on youtube you’ll learn faster :innocent:

Lightning is fine, the biggest problem is the background imo

For a beginner, wow-

If I ever tried to do that, I’d end up with a gfx looking like a Mcdonalds burger- :joy:
You did amazing, keep up the great work!

i think the problem here is the pose n the fact that there are no overlays. here are some things u could do to improve:

  • try to move every visible limb in the body when ur posing your character, leaving some arms or legs straight ruins the fluidity of the pose and makes the whole thing look incomplete

  • use different camera angles than head-on, maybe use one from below or to the side. imagine ur a professional photographer getting on ur knees to take a picture of a statue is how i like to imagine it lol

  • add some random stuff!! sparks, glowy outlines and shapes make any gfx look a lot more lively. dont be shy.

  • as with any other type of art, use a reference. i know it sounds weird in the case of gfx but personally i find that they look a lot better when the artist has tried to recreate the work of another. it creates less room for messing up.

the shade of blue you’ve chosen for the background is really pretty and it’s clear you have an eye for stuff like this!! tag me in the next thing you make!!

Thanks for the feedback. I’ll take note of it and try implement it to my next gfx!

My main problem is the lighting, it looks horrible imo
It doesn’t stand out either, no glow like @vhdonS said
Also, try moving all the character’s limbs, like @tacticallysrupid said : )

Thanks for the feedback, i’ll try and add these points!

Amazing and simple. That could be something like a profile pic. One question. How did you make it because the only software I have is called niscrosoft paint :skull:

no problem, nice gfx :DD I cant make gfx myself so i highly respect what you made : )

the lighting is bad
makes it look goofy

the dominus is clipping. The lighting should be worked on
