Thoughts on horror game idea

(Not sure if this is the right category, so please let me know!)

So, for the past weeks I’ve been struggling to come up with an original game idea that was somewhat simple, but also scary. When I was on a walk, suddenly my brain remembered about the “Devil’s Hide and Seek”. Here’s what I planned so far:

Before the game starts, each player will spawn in its house for ‘the preparation’. Players must wear black clothes, a mask, pick up objects that make noise(pots, cups, etc), something to hit these objects with, a flashlight, a candle(the game will choose a random player to collect these), a paper and a pen.

Then, the players will meet with the others in an abandoned building. Each player will take their paper and write the numbers 1 to 13. After that, the player who got the candles must place them in a circle, then everyone will place their objects(except for their flashlights, papers and pens) in the center of the circle. One player must take an object that is not his and make as much as noise possible.

When the candles go out, everyone must get out of there and hide as quickly as possible, having only 1 minute to hide. Each player can only switch their hiding places once every 2 minutes, with only 1 minute to switch to a new hiding spot(or if they’d like to, they can stay in the same spot). If a spirit sees a player, the player can use their flashlight to illuminate the spirit, causing it to go away temporarily(but beware, since the spirit will eventually adapt to this, and become immune to light); But, if the player is caught by the spirits, he becomes eliminated and dies(perhaps he is turned into a spirit, chasing the remaining survivors?). Every 1 minute, the players must remove a number from their papers, meaning the game would take 13 minutes to complete.

After the 13 minutes have passed, the survivors must pick up their objects and leave the building. Then, they will put their clothes and mask on fire and bury their objects in a hole, only after that the game will be officially over.

TL;DR: The game will about a group of players playing hide and seek with spirits, which in order to win they must survive for 13 minutes without getting caught.

Now I’d like to hear your opinions about this. Is this idea good? Would you play this? Do you think it somehow does break the TOS? If yes, what do I need to change?

the right category for this would be #help-and-feedback:game-design-support, I believe. Anyways, the whole ‘preparation’ part feels a bit unnecessary, and I think players prefer to just start quickly. Starting right before the candles go out doesn’t seem like it’d cause any issues(if my understanding of the idea is correct).

tl;dr: preparation seems unnecessary. most roblox players prefer a quick dopamine fix, not a few minutes of preparing
